Graduated from Keio University with a Bachelor of Science and Engineering and received a Master of Engineering in 1989. After graduation, he joined Salomon Brothers Asia Securities, where he was a top salesman. He moved to Citigroup Global Markets Japan and was promoted to Deputy President of Citigroup Global Markets Japan, and after leaving the firm in 2010, he founded Storm Harbor Securities Inc.
In 2016, he founded Boardwalk Capital Corporation, which primarily focuses on angel investing.
He has served as an independent director of several high-growth public companies, including VECTOR Inc., Vision Inc., istyle Inc., and Geniee, Inc., as well as a part-time lecturer of System Design and Management at Keio University Graduate School and Hitotsubashi University Graduate School. He is the author of “The Global Talent Requirements to Win in the World”(Gentosha).
